Course
M.Sc. in Plantation Crops is a postgraduate course. Plantation crops are a group of commercial crops of perennial nature, cultivated extensively in tropical and subtropical situations which need employment of labour through out the year and the produces of which are usually consumed after processing.Plantation crops constitute a large group of crops. The major plantation crops include coconut, arecanut, oil palm, cashew, tea, coffee and rubber; the minor plantation crops include cocoa. Their total coverage is comparatively less and they are mostly confined to small holdings.
Eligibility
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in order to pursue Master of Science Program.
Duration: 2 years
