The Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics program is designed in such a way that the students get exposed to, assess and evaluate the agricultural development programs and technologies. They are exposed to the quantitative analysis integrated with critical thinking of the agricultural policies and business.The program aims to equip the students with the management, marketing and financing the food when it comes from farms to the table. This is the right course for a student willing to know about agricultural marketing, environmental economics and agricultural trade whilst getting the knowledge of profit maximization and investment planning etc.A principle objective of the course is to keep the students abreast with all the developments and innovations in the field of agriculture that can drive it towards greater business. From product development to international trade and banking of agriculture, everything is explained to the student in greater detail during the PhD program.
