Course
Farm Machinery and Power Engineering deals with the various tools, that help in the production of various fruits and vegetables. These days a lot of mechanical devices are used in the production of the crops. Right from preparing the land, to sowing seed, reaping them and till the production of the final fruit or vegetable, various mechanical and electronic devices are engaged. If you wish to do something innovative in the field of the food industry, then you must contribute something to the field of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering. This PhD. course will help you in learning about the tools that are used in foreign countries. In the light of the methods used for processing the fruits and vegetables in other countries, you will have to suggest some technique that will be appropriate for our country. You will be assigned to a research guide who will help you in this regard.
Duration : 3 Years
Eligibility
- The students who wish to study this PhD. course should complete their M.Tech first. There is a restriction regarding the stream of this M.Tech. You should either pursue your master's course either Farm Machinery and Power Engineering or a related field.
- The aggregate score obtained in the master's course must be minimum 60% or more.
