Course
M.Sc. Horticulture is a postgraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course. Horticulture is the science, art, technology and business that involved in intensive plant cultivation for humn use. Horticulture is concerned it is the science of plant cultivation including the process of preparing the soil for the planting of seeds, tubers and cuttings. Horticulturists work and conduct research in the disciplines of plant propagation and cultivation, crop production, plant breeding and genetic engineering, plant biochemistry, and plant physiology.
Eligibility
Candidates should complete their B.Sc. under any registered University in respective subjects like B.SC. (Ag), B.Sc. (Hort), B.Sc. (Forestry), B.Tech. (Hort.), B.Tech. (Ag.Biotech) in the Science stream.
