M.Sc. in Plant Pathology is a postgraduate course.Plant pathology is the scientific study of diseases in plants caused by pathogens and environmental conditions. Organisms that cause infectious disease include fungi, oomycetes, bacteria, viruses, viroids, virus-like organisms, phytoplasmas, protozoa, nematodes and parasitic plants. Aspiring students should have passed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Plant Science, Horticultural Sciences, Crop Sciences, Forestry, Biology or other related fields from an accredited higher learning institution with minimum 50% marks.
