B.Sc.Sericulture is an undergraduate Agricultural Science and Technology course. Sericulture or silk farming is the rearing of silkworms to produce raw silk.Although there are several commercial species of silkworms,Bombyx mori is the most widely used and intensively studied.The sericulture sector plays a major role in the development of the rural economy.The duration of the course is the three years and it is career orienting in nature that opens many jobs opportunities in the very sector
