Course
M.Sc Psychology is a postgraduate course that lengthens with a two year and is divided into four semesters offered in University of Kerala Thiruvananthapuram. In the syllabus, they are a list of electives such as Psycho Diagnostic and Assessment, Organisational Dynamics, Special Areas of Counselling, Engineering Psychology, Therapeutics in Counselling, Perspectives in Mental Health, Issues in Industrial Psychology, Assessment in Guidance and Counselling, Psychological Treatment of Mental Disorders, Psychopathology, Guidance and Counselling Psychology, and Principles of Organisational Behaviour. After completing the studies the professionals can work on different job profiles in different fields like in schools, colleges, hospitals, courtrooms, laboratories, community health centers, prisons, and corporate offices. And the job profiles can be Psychologist, Counsellor, Social Psychologist, Staff Recruiter, Educational Psychologist, Urban Planning Officer, Child Support Specialist, Social Worker, Research Specialist, Consultant, and Human Resource Assistant.
