Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is an UG programme. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered by Vignan's Foundation For Science, Technology and Research Guntur . Department of IT has well-qualified and experienced faculty who are specialists in the areas of Programming Languages, Data Mining, Software Engineering,Information Security,Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Internet of Things and Data Science. There are 36 dedicated faculty members with good amount of experience in different areas. The faculty members are actively involved in research activities in the field of their specialization. They have published number of papers in Journals and Conferences of National and International repute. The Department attributes its success to the creative and innovative outlook of its students. The Department encourages students to participate in Technical Workshops, Coding competitions,Project Exhibitions and Symposiums to present papers. Students are also made to undergo 6 Month Industrial Internship during final year, where they hone their technical skill in the realm of computers. The department effectively prepares students to pursue leadership, technical, and management positions in a variety of industries. Students have obtained successful top-notch placements at leading companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Satyam, and other leading companies.
Eligibility
- Students should have pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and other South Indian States are eligible to appear for the admission test. The minimum eligibility for the students of North, North East and other states is 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Admission into B.Tech. / B.Pharm programmes will be through Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test, V-SAT an on-line test, conducted by Vignan's Deemed to be University on all India basis.
- Candidates qualified in V-SAT / AP or TS EAMCET / JEE(Mains) / JEE(Advanced) with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana and other South Indian States in the +2 / Intermediate examination and 50% aggregate marks in North, North East and other states of India.
