Course
M.Tech in Machine Design is a post graduate program offered by Vignan's Foundation For Science, Technology and Research Guntur covering the essential concepts and processes involved in the design and manufacture of machines and machine- related items. The program is an offshoot of Mechanical Engineering, focussing on machine design using analytical, numerical and experimental approaches.M.Tech in Machine Design course essentially focuses on areas like Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, Theory of Plates and Shells, Advanced Vibrations, Finite Element Analysis, Kinematics Design, Tribology and Bearing Design, Fracture Mechanics, Experimental Stress Analysis, etc. The Department of Mechanical Engineering holds its strength in its faculty, state of art infrastructure, innovative teaching methodology, and regular student counseling sessions which plays a role of a catalyst in sharpening the skills of an average student into a confident, highly employable engineer who keeps abreast of the latest and rapidly changing technological trends in the market. - Admission into M.Tech. - 50% aggregate marks in the concerned B.Tech. / B.E branch with qualified rank in PGECET/GATE/VU CET.
