BA Journalism or Bachelor of Arts in Journalism is an undergraduate course.Mass Media has evolved over the years creating a huge demand for trained media professionals. BA Journalism is a course which prepares students for a career in Media and Journalism, both print and electronic. Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Arts program in Journalism are adept in various skills which relate to reporting, journalism, writing, editing, news presentation, news compilation etc. The specializations offered in the course include Fundamentals of Journalism, Language, History of Journalism, Media Laws and Indian Constitution and Development Psychology.
BA Journalism helps an individual hone their storytelling skills. At the end of the course, they are expected to possess the ability to tell stories and write on various topics – entertainment or informative, following the best journalism practices. A degree holder in BA Journalism learns various theoretical and practical aspects.
