Course
Bachelor of Hotel management or simply BHM is an undergraduate course which teaches students the various fundamentals of hotel management and catering technology. Bachelor of Hotel Management is an undergraduate course which introduces students to the fundamentals and different facets of the hospitality sector. The course is about the study of the hospitality industry as a whole, acquainting the student to the different sector and areas of this industry. Thus, it not only teaches students about the hotel management but also about marketing, sales, public relations to name a few other areas.
Eligibility
The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is that the students should have cleared their 10+2 exam from a good school. The school should be affiliated to a board recognized by the Indian government. They should also have obtained satisfactory marks, i.e., the minimum marks as mentioned by the universities individually. Different universities keep different criteria. The range varies from 55%-80%.
