Course
B.E. in Medical Electronics is a specialized discipline that advances knowledge in Medicine and Engineering through cross disciplinary activities that integrates the Engineering Science with the Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Practices. In this field, engineering knowledge, especially electronics is utilized for treatment of diseases and ailments by using modern medical equipment. The sophisticated electronic equipment developed by these medical electronic professionals have revolutionized the field of healthcare. A medical electronics engineer designs and produces such electronic equipment.A medical electronics engineer is the one who designs and develop medical equipment without which a surgeon or a doctor is useless. This course helps in research, along with medical scientists, chemists and life scientists to develop and evaluate systems and products such as artificial limbs or organs, artificial devices that replace missing body parts, instrumentation, health management system and care delivery system, medical information system.

Eligibility
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.E Medical Electronics course is a pass degree in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Maths with a minimum of 55% marks
