Course
B.Tech. Industrial and Production Engineering equips the student with the knowledge of planning, measuring and controlling all the production and industrial related activities. The course is to make the students so competent that they could improve the level of service sector industries and manufacturing companies.Production Engineering is a specialized area of Mechanical Engineering. The objective of the discipline is to enable engineers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing and service sector Industries. The curriculum includes basic mechanical engineering subjects. Some of them are engineering mechanics, the strength of materials, machine design, thermodynamics, heat transfer etc. The course makes graduates compatible with the existing and emerging needs of the industry. B.E or B.Tech in Industrial and Production. Engineering is a four-year program.
Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as core subjects.
