Course
B. Tech in Mining Engineering is a discipline of engineering which is concerned with teaching the students how to cope up with the demands for mineral of all kinds in an efficient and sustainable manner. This course fulfills the rising demand for mining engineers. Other than training students for extraction and processing of mineral commodities, B.Tech. Mining Engineering Syllabus equips the students with a tendency to constantly look for innovative methods of mining that mitigate the resultant damage by the mining process.The importance of techniques to responsible recovery and judicious use of mineral resources are taught to the students. It helps to instill a mentality that sees the students become proficient at extraction and processing of mineral commodities and responsive to the needs from an environmental perspective. The various specializations in this course are ventilation, a design of engineering structures, environmental aspects of mining, rock mechanics, industrial management, computer applications etc.
Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Candidate has to pass senior secondary examination from a recognized board with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.
