Course
B.Tech in Silk Technology is a subject that falls under Textile Technology. In this course, students are trained on the production of silk which is a fabric material, not only from silk-worms but also through artificial processes. They are also taught about the properties of the fabric, its manufacturing process, dyeing and treating the material, and finally how to convert it into the finished product for selling purposes.There is a wide scope of this course since graduates can work in various industries such as textile industry, fashion and apparel industry, and silk manufacturing units.
