Course
M.Tech. in Renewable energy is a form of energy generated from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat which are renewable (naturally replenished). Renewable energy technologies range from solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity/micro hydro, biomass and biofuels for transportation.Renewable Energy prepares the students in theoretical and practical aspects of renewable energy technologies and its implementation, energy conservation, and management. Besides that, it also trains students in important areas of energy infrastructure, rational use of energy, energy policies and regulations, and energy-environment interface etc.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility : A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation in B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent subject in a relevant discipline completed from a recognized institute.
Higher Studies : Ph.D. (Renewable Energy)
