M.Tech. in Thermal Power Engineering is a two year postgraduate course which deals with aspects such as designing, manufacturing, testing, controlling and evaluating the thermal power equipment's. Thermal power plants pay a vital role in the power generation sector. It makes students gain knowledge in concepts like fluid mechanics, heat transfer, I.C Engines, fuels for I.C Engines, heat transfer equipment etc.Thermal power engineering is a branch of heat engineering which deals with the conversion of heat into other forms of energy.

Minimum eligibility required to apply for admission to the M.Tech Thermal Power Engineering Course is complete graduation (from a recognized university with minimum aggregate score of 50%.
