Course
M.Tech. in Tool Engineering is a 2 years post graduation course deals with the effective method of designing and manufacturing tools which are used for industrial purposes and also integration of the facilities require to produce products with minimal labor, materials and time.It covers subjects such as modern machining methods, design of press tools, design of jigs and fixtures, design of cutting tools, cutting tool theory and design, plastic processing, CNC machining, metrology and measurements, die casting designing, plastic moulds designing, product design technology, design for manufacture, rapid prototyping, advanced molding technology, industrial design and ergonomics, gauges and measurement, advanced plastic processing technologies etc.

Eligibility
The minimum eligibility required to apply for admission to the M.Tech in Tool Engineering course is to qualify in B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with minimum aggregate score of 50%.
