Course
M.Tech. in Transportation Engineering is a 2- year long full- time course divided into 4 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months.The importance of transportation in the economic progress and social welfare of communities needs no emphasis. With globalization and the consequent boom in infrastructure projects, there is a steady demand of qualified personnel for the creation of an efficient transportation network.Over the years, the road construction technology has witnessed a massive change in aspects of design, construction, and maintenance, resulting in an increase in the relevance and importance of Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning and Sustainability.

Eligibility
The basic minimum eligibility for the pursuance of the course is a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST).
