Course
Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) is a postgraduate programme offered by Westfort Institute of Paramedical Sciences Thrissur. Master of Hospital Administration is a two-year full-time management course focusing on providing effective management and administration in hospitals and other health care institutes. Bachelor degree holder of any discipline can apply for this course. The syllabus gives advanced knowledge in resource management, finance management, planning & service management, Human resource management and administration of a health care sector. Hospital administrator has to ensure smooth functioning of the institute, which include health care staff retention, quality control, buying and allocating resources, patient satisfaction and cost reduction. After completing this course, the candidate can look out for job opportunities as a manager, supervisor, department manager, assistant manager, management trainee in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and rehabilitation centres.
