M.Sc. Chemistry (Analytical & Organic)
Master of Chemistry (M.Sc. in Chemistry) programme is designed to prepare the students for more highly productive careers in the industry. This is a research degree leading to the award of an M.Sc. by Research in Organic Chemistry.
Organic Chemistry is the scientific study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and arrangement (by blend or by different means) of carbon-based mixes, hydrocarbons, and their subordinates. These compounds may contain any number of other elements, including hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, the halogens as well as phosphorus, silicon, and sulphur.
Analytical chemistry is the study of the separation, identification, and quantification of the chemical components of natural and artificial materials.
Duration
M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry is a 2- year long course spread over 4 semesters, with each lasting for 6 months.
Eligibility
Graduation in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related field from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
