Open Electives course in Vedic Mathematics
Course
Vedic Mathematics is a collection of Techniques/Sutras to solve mathematical arithmetic in easy and faster way. It consists of 16 Sutras (Formula) and 13 sub-sutras (Sub Formulae) which can be used for problems involved in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, conics. In the Vedic system 'difficult' problems or huge sums can often be solved immediately by the Vedic method. These striking and beautiful methods are just a part of a complete system of mathematics which is far more systematic than the modern 'system'. Vedic Mathematics manifests the coherent and unified structure of mathematics and the methods are complementary, direct and easy.
Course Objective
- Students mind is at work with this mathematics so mental sharpness is associated with it
- Vedic maths is very effective and at the same time it is easy to learn. Only 16 Vedic sutras are used to solve the mathematical problem. Sutras are basically word formula that describe normal way of solving mathematical problems
Course outcome
- It helps the student to solve mathematical problems 10-15 times faster. It is a magical tool to reduce scratch work and finger counting and improve Mental Calculation. It reduces burden.
Duration : 45 Hours
Eligibility
- A student who has studied any of the above languages till Class 12 needs to continue the same at the Degree level.
- If the student had studied a particular language only till 10 and not had a language in the higher secondary board, as in ISC / CBSC, International boards, he /she, can opt for / be given Additional English.
