Principal's Message
Greetings from NMKRV College for Women; a college, which has nearly four decades of excellence in education. I am proud to say that we are not only autonomous but also recognized as a “College with potential for Excellence” by the University Grants Commission.
The NAAC accredited with ‘A’ grade for the third consecutive time. Academic autonomy was granted to us in 2006 and we crossed a milestone by efficiently conducting examinations and announcing results on time.
Dear Students, when you are with us, you will find the difference in the academic atmosphere. We provide you with the best of infrastructure, in terms of the labs, library, sports, cultural and other extracurricular activities. We constantly update all the necessary academic standards.

Placement
Employers:
- Placement Cell will respond to all Employers who communicate to recruit students from the College.
- All campus visits will be on pre-agreed dates commencing from December onwards.
- Companies are expected to give a Pre-Placement Talk [PPT] laying out the details of the company and the offer before the process.
- College requests Employers to complete the recruitment process quickly and make offers at the earliest possible.
- Employers are requested to keep the College advised of all offers sent to our students and are requested to share a soft copy of the employment contract with us.
- Kindly inform number of panel members visiting our college on the day of campus drive to make necessary arrangements.
- Once our students have done the joining process we request to intimate the same to placement center.
Students:
- Each student shall be eligible for two offers. Till a confirmed offer letter is accepted by the student offered by the company.
- Before attending the campus drive, we urge you to study the job description.
- Know about the Employer, from their Company website, before attending the interview.
- Students should feel free to ask the Campus Visitor any reasonable question e.g. location of job and transfer policy, Compensation & Career progression, terms & conditions.
- Students should attend the selection process of the Campus Visitor, only if their respective Career Plans are met.
- Ineligible criteria: Students will be considered ineligible for placement activities if any of the below mentioned is true:
1. Students who have less than 75% attendance in pre placement training program.
2. Student registers to attend a company's interview and on the day of interview doesn't turn up.
3. Student attends 5 interviews of his choice and still fails to get the offer.
4. If there is a misbehavior/indiscipline on the part of the student during the interview process.
- Students must be prepared to go to the company’s office or selection venue for any part or the complete selection process as required by the recruiting company.
- Attendance in pre-placement talks, personality development and preparatory classes (including mock interviews) is compulsory for all the eligible students.
- DISHA – T & P Center will notify on the Placement Notice Board all recruitment requests received from the companies. Applications will be invited from interested and eligible (as per the criteria, if any, specified by the recruiting company) students. It is the duty of each one of you to regularly see the Placement Notice Board.
- It will be mandatory for all short-listed students to appear for the selection process / interview. Any withdrawal / no-show will debar you from placement assistance.
- You are required to follow a decent dress code at the time of your placement selection process. In case any of you fails to follow the code may not be allowed to appear for the process.
Alumni
An Alumni association is an association of graduates of former students (alumni). It is organized in schools, colleges and universities. This association often conduct several activities. We at NMKRV College for Women have one such association of alumni called as ‘SAMMILANA’. Every year in the month of January, we have an alumni meet, which is organized by our college, wherein around 200-250 alumnae from various streams come together and recollect their moments. They meet their friends, teachers and exchange their views.The purpose of an association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the general welfare of your organization. Alumni associations exist to support the parent organization's goals, and to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community, and the parent organization.
Today, alumni relations is an important part of an institution's advancement activities for many reasons: Alumni are an institution's most loyal supporters. Alumni are often in the position to engage the expertise of the institution in their professional lives.
Objectives of the Alumni Association
- To create a sense of abiding affection and affinity thro mentioned reciprocation in the minds of the former and ongoing students enkindling their interest to keep themselves aware of the divergent opportunities to encourage together for the contribution of their all-round progress benefiting their Almamater.
- To foster good rapport between the management, staff and students on the one land and the public on the other for the growth and development of the college to better its public image.
- To promote the aims and ideals of the institution as spelled out in its prospectus and other relevant publications.
- To arrange and conduct scientific, professional social and cultural Programmes for the benefit of members, medical professionals and the general public.
- To conduct and participate actively in public to project and implement programmes.
- To assist meritorious and needy students.
- To collect funds for the benefits and activities of the college by way of donation, contributions, aids.
