Admissions of medical and dental health courses and other AYUSH courses to students in Karnataka and other Non-Karnataka Students based on criteria and eligibility of Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) As per the directions of the Government of Karnataka the online application of applying for various admissions in MBBS, BDS colleges in Karnataka is based on the results got in UGNEET 2021-22. Students who achieved more than or equal to the cut-off marks which were mentioned in UGNEET are eligible to apply for various colleges in Karnataka. It is declared that Karnataka students can only apply for the Government share of Ayush seats and reservations. Non-Karnataka students are not acceptable for applying for AYUSH seats through KEA. But if they accomplished 50% or above of the qualifying criteria in UGNEET then the GENERAL (UC) category only is eligible to register for any admissions through KEA or any other seats in Karnataka. Students in another category like SC/ST/OBC are eligible to apply through KEA is applicable for Karnataka candidates only. The students who are interested to apply in online through KEA are enabled on 13/12/2021 from 2:00 pm onwards 17/12/2021 till 11:59 pm by clicking on the appropriate link given on the website of KEA. Students must keep in mind that to pay the registration fees on the application is to be paid on the last date 18/12/2021 before 5:30 pm. The amount of registration fees and the documents that are to be submitted and verified will be scheduled on the KEA website. The students who have already registered and finished the document verification in the KEA web portal need not pay the registration fees but should add the UGNEET roll number along with the link given in the KEA portal on 13/12/2021 from 2:00 pm to 17/12/2021 till 11:59 pm will be eligible to attain to get the admissions on MBBS, BDS or Ayush courses. Candidates who have got ranks in UGNEET and those who completed document verification need not pay the registration fees once again but should submit the UGNEET verification slip in the KEA web portal at the specified dates. Students who have claimed to any of the reservations of the seat as per the Government of Karnataka norms like Linguistic or Religious minority or NRI ward are eligible to claim the seats in St. John Medical College Bangalore and should denote the reservations claimed in the online application form submitted in the KEA web portal and should appear for the document verification with all the original certificates and documents. Non-Karnataka students need not be required for the original document verification but the foreign students and another category should appear for the document verification. However, the Non-Karnataka students should submit their documents in the KEA web portal in PDF format on specified dates. Students who complete the document verification are eligible for admission in MBBS, BDS, or other Ayush courses.
