NTA invites applications for Joint Entrance Examinations (Main)- Jan 2023 Session 1
The Department of Higher Education, under the Ministry of Education (The Government of India), has entrusted National Testing Agency (NTA) with the responsibility of conducting the JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) from the year 2019.
The JEE Main comprises two papers. Paper 1(BE/ BTech) is for undergraduate engineering program (BE/BTech) admission at NITs, IITs, other CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions), and Institutions/ Universities funded/ recognized by participating State Governments. It is also considered an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for IIT admission. Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning admissions in India.
JEE (Main)- 2023 for the academic session 2023-24 is planned to conduct in two sessions, session 1 (Jan 2023) and session 2 (April 2023).
The online application form submission for Session 1 is from 15th December 2022- 12th January 2023 till 9 pm. The last date of fee transaction through credit card/ debit card/net banking/ UPI is from 12th January 2023, till 11:50 pm. The city of examination announcement is from the second week of January 2023. The Centre, Date and Shift are as indicated on admit card. The display of recorded responses and answer keys will be announced later on the website, www.nta.ac.in and https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
JEE (Main) -2023 will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Only that session will be visible in the first session of JEE( Main)-2023, and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, session two will be visible, and candidates can select it. The session two application window will be re-opened per the information bulletin details and will be notified through public notice later.
