City College of Nursing Mangalore Karnataka The City Hospital Charitable Trust (CHCT) is the sister concern of the City Hospital Research & Diagnostic Centre, An ISO 9001 Certified Hospital. Founded in 1989 with a singular objective to promote medical and paramedical education in this coastal region. The Trust has been able to enlighten the students who have entered the portals of its institutions, and has been an oasis of education to the very many students coming from the length & breadth of the country. Any student seeking admission to paramedical courses should make sure that the college has its own Hospital for clinical training. As a source of Inspiration and empowerment to many youths to face the challenges of life the Institutions impart meaningful and quality education. The City Hospital Charitable Trust is headed by wellknown stalwarts of education namely Prof. (Dr.) K. Bhasker Shetty, a well known educationist and a renowned Surgeon, Prof. (Dr.) A. Rohan Shetty, a famous Neurosurgeon, Prof. (Dr.) A. Roshan Shetty, a well recognized Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr. A Kiran Shetty, a Physician and Social Worker, Prof. (Dr.) A. Kishan Shetty, an Anaesthesiologist and Educationist. They are also the pioneers of the City Hospital Research & Diagnostic Centre, a 200 bedded Multi Speciality Hospital promoted in 1987. The Institutions promoted by the City Hospital Charitable Trust are ISO 9001 Certified an unanimous choice for a numerous students from India and abroad. In addition to providing quality education, the Trust is also committed to provide quality health care service through its well known hospital.
