Doctor in Medicine in Endocrinology or DM Endocrinology is a doctorate course that entails the study of problems and solutions of human glands (endocrine glands) and that secretes hormones. The course is designed by the Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram under the Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur. It is a course that takes part within three years which is divided into six semesters. The Kerala University of Health Sciences that structures the DM in Endocrinology by the Government Medical College has designed a syllabus for this course that includes the study of endocrine glands and secretions of hormones their side effects caused while entering medications, disease conditions while the increase/decrease in the hormones, about the nutrition, and so on.
