Postgraduate Diploma in Radiology therapy (DMRT) is a Postgraduate diploma level course offered by the Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram. DMRT solely deals with the various medical techniques that fight against the different deadly diseases found in the human body, including lethal cancer. It also focuses on several internal body diseases and establishes various hidden parts of the human body. Government Medical College is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Science Thrissur. Kerala University of Health Science provides a syllabus that includes the subjects such as pathology, radiotherapy, radiation physics, cancer chemotherapy, diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine, etc. After completing this course, the students can work in different job roles such as X-Ray Technicians, Radiation Therapy Technologists, Radiation Protection Specialists, Diagnostic Radiographers, Radiation Therapy Team Supervisors etc.
