Course
Multifaceted data and its intelligent triangulation and analysis holds the key to design of strategy to innovate improvements in healthcare. The ongoing digitisation of the various elements of the health industry is enabling professionals working in the field, including physicians of modern and traditional systems of medicine, nurses, dieticians, nutritionists and health administrators to use data to improve public health outcomes.
The two-year M.Sc. by Research Program on Health Informatics & Analytics is designed to expose students to identify relevant data points, logic for triangulation and methods of analysis to solve real world challenges in health care including holistic drug discovery, nutrition & clinical care. Students will research and develop practical solutions for health care derived from modern biomedicine, Ayurveda, nutrition and public health using health informatics & analytics. The program will equip the students with practical skills to acquire, structure, interrogate and analyze large and diverse data in order to develop new and improved health care solutions.
Duration : The minimum duration of MSc – Health Informatics & Analytics is 2 years. This is a 68 credit program with 18 credits for course-work and 50 credits for research project work (guided by mentors).
Eligibility
Graduates in engineering, computer science, data science, biological sciences, agricultural sciences, food science, and nutrition, researchers in modern and traditional systems of medicine, nurses, dieticians, nutritionists and health administrators.
