Course
MD Emergency Medicine is a three-year postgraduate program in medicine by Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute Thrissur. The course aims to provide efficient doctors to handle emergency situations affecting patients of different age groups. They are the primary caregivers in the emergency department and refer the patients for admission to the hospital or specialists for further treatment if needed. After the MD specialisations, the physicians can work in the Emergency Department, Operation Theatre or Accident Department of various public or private hospitals, clinics, urgent care, healthcare institutes, colleges, universities or research centres as Emergency Medicine Physician, Emergency Medicine Doctor, Professor, Medical curriculum maker, Medical policy maker, Researcher, Medical Writer.
