Course
Doctor of medicine in cardiology or DM Cardiology is a course that occurred in our Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute Thrissur, which is affiliated under Kerala University of Health Sciences Thrissur. It is a postgraduate course which should be completed within three years imparted with six semesters. Aspirants can pursue this course if they succeed in MD in General Surgery and Cardiology and have a minimum score of 55% in a postgraduate study. In Cardiology, DM specializes in the disorders of the human heart and some parts of the circulatory system. Our Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute under the Kerala University of Health Sciences covers a syllabus of Coronary artery disease, a systemic disease involving heart, rheumatic heart disease, heart muscle disease, congenital heart disease,traumatic heart disease, pericardial diseases, tumours of heart, cardiac arrhythmias,genetics, heart failure, geriatrics, peripheral vascular disease, general anaesthesia,pulmonary hypertension, pregnancy and heart disease, systematic hypertension,epidemiology and preventive cardiology, electrocardiography, stress testing, radiology,Holter monitoring, echocardiography, experience in cardiac catheterization, right-left heart path coronary angiography, temporary pacemaker insertion, Various interventions including valvuloplasty coronary and congenital interventions and electrophysiology.
