B.Sc Operation Theater Technology (OTT) is a degree course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. The course focus on producing career-oriented allied health science graduates capable of providing complete care to surgical patients before, during and after the operation. They ensure the proper disinfection & sterilization of all materials and equipment in the operation theatre, setting up and operating medical equipment and ensure accurate record keeping of the patient. The syllabus covers topics including applied anatomy and physiology, clinical pharmacology, clinical microbiology, medical ethics, anaesthetic techniques, CSSD procedures, intensive care, principles of anaesthesia, anaesthesia for speciality surgeries. Course completed candidates can work in Operation Theatre, Critical Care Unit, ICU of various private and public hospitals. They can also consider higher studies in Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology.
Duration: 4 years (3 yr + 1 yr Internship)

Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) with PCB from any recognized board
