D.M Critical Care Medicine, is a three-year post graduate super speciality degree offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. The degree could be pursued by those with an MD/DNM degree. The course aims at producing a post graduate student who should be able to deal critically sick patients. After completing the course the doctor would be able to diagnose and treat patients with serious life threatening surgical and medical diseases.Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences include syllabus such as Resuscitation and Initial Management of Acutely Ill Patients, Diagnosis : Assessment, Investigation, Monitoring and Data: Interpretation of the acutely ill patients, Disease Management: Acute disease and Chronic Disease, Therapeutic Intervention/Organ System Support in Single or Multiple Organ Failure, Peri-operative Care, Critical Care of Children, Transportation, Physical and Clinical Measurement, Research Method, Applied Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry, Pharmacology. After the successful completion of the course the doctor can work as Senior Resident Critical Care, Consultant Critical Care and so on in private hospitals, clinics and government hospitals.

Eligibility : The candidates must have pass MD from a recognized University approved by MCI.
