Course
M.ch (Master of Chirurgiae) in head and neck surgery is a postgraduate course which is offered by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. Head and Neck surgery deals with the treatment of cancerous and non-cancerous tumors seen in the head, neck, and including thyroid and parathyroid. Medical candidates can pursue this study only by completing graduation and MS in the specialized stream and relevant experience in the same field. By attaining the entrance examinations such as NEET, AIIMS, etc the candidates are eligible to join the program.Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is covered with a curriculum that includes the topics such as Cancer Biology, Molecularbiology, hormones and etiology of cancer, trauma and inflammation, cancer epidemiology, applied head and neck anatomy, theory and practice of clinical trials, head, and neck radiology, basic principles of plastic surgery, lip and oral cavity, benign cysts and tumors of the jaw, nutritional support, anterior skull base tumors, management of cancer pain, reconstruction of soft tissue defects of the face, speech and swallowing therapy, and so on. The candidates who complete this course can lead different roles in their career craniomaxillofacial surgeon, assistant surgeon, plastic surgeon, oncologist, etc.

Eligibility : The candidates must pass Doctor of Medicine (MD) from any recognized University
