M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering
Course
The M.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering imparts a breadth of advanced knowledge in various areas of computer science. The programme is designed such that a student can complete it based on advanced coursework alone. However, the students are given the option to concentrate on a problem by substituting some of the courses with equivalent project work.
Eligibility
Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or an equivalent degree in an appropriate area or M.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology) or MCA with 50% marks in aggregate.
Duration: 2 years divided into 4 semesters
Higher Studies
After completing their M. Tech. in Computer Science, they can pursue higher education and may even opt for doctoral programs after completing their post graduation. They may have to appear for entrance exams in some universities for Ph.D. programs.
