Welcome to Akshaya Institute of Technology, Tumkur (AIT Tumkur) website and Hearty Greetings to You. It is a very challenging and the most difficult job to choose an engineering college out of the many available for the students and parents. I congratulate the students and their parents who have chosen our institute for their engineering education. Yes, you have taken the right decision by choosing our institute because of the following facts. . AIT Tumkur is considered as one among very few best institutions in the state imparting excellent technical education incorporating contemporary developments, in addition to building character and moral values in the students. The institute provides a very congenial and exciting atmosphere for the all-round development of the students. The academic and other training programs ensure that each and every student acquires the knowledge and skills needed to be highly successful in their professional life.
Anticipating the need for quality engineering graduates in the region we are determined to generate individuals who are capable of meeting global challenges in the field of science and technology. There is a clear void between the engineering academics and the corporate world and to eliminate this, the institute has incorporated a separate placement and training department, who are accountable to groom the budding engineers. The department organizes various training programmes right from the first semester to final semester on spoken and written English in addition to various skill development programmes required to make the students employable and acceptable by the corporate world. As a result a large majority of the students are placed in various companies in the campus placement drive. During this academic year all eligible candidates are placed in various companies.
